I'm Rachel Wilken,
a UX strategist who connects people, information & purpose.
With 7 years of experience leading research-driven digital initiatives across higher education, corporate, government, and nonprofit environments, I specialize in translating complex information and stakeholder needs into intuitive, accessible digital systems that connect user goals with organizational strategy.
A graduate of Indiana University Indianapolis’s Master of Library and Information Science program, my work blends UX research, information architecture, and digital strategy to create experiences that are both human-centered and data-informed. I love solving problems through insight, collaboration, and thoughtful design that drives measurable impact.
My Values

Creativity
My creativity, honed by years of studying classical music, allows me to approach challenges from different angles and find novel solutions that may not be readily apparent

Empathy
One of my top 5 CliftonStrengths, I build strong relationships that hold a team together and make it greater than the sum of its parts

Transparency
The driving force behind my stakeholder engagement methodology, transparency helps build trust, align expectations early, and create smoother, faster decision-making

Life-long Learning
I am intellectually curious and internally driven to seek solutions. This year I attended UX Insights Festival 2025, Indy Design Week 2025, and UX Nordic 2025.
